做完这本书，花费了大概一个月，每天抽出约1个小时来做就可以了。总体来说，比第一册内容上要丰富许多，增加了一些新的题型，比如同义、反义、类比，还有同根词的扩展等等，虽然每册只重点介绍一百个单词，但是通过扩展，可以达到300-400的词汇量，这是这本书的优势所在。另外，课后的crossword游戏是我的最爱。下面说说不足，第一，可能是该书只是“基础”，里面的单词普遍都比较简单，本人大学英语六级水平，做书上的练习可以说非常轻松，几乎是百分百的正确率，因此如果有六级水平的话，这本书可以不买了，当然，如果想巩固的话，可以考虑；第二，还是最后的三个TEST没有答案的问题，跟第一本书一样，给练习不给答案，无异于盲人摸象，希望以后能改进。
